 FAQs

  • No. You are limited to one CNS Honors Program, but you may apply to external honors programs.

  • The Health Science Scholars program is highly selective, admitting about fifty students each year.

The program looks for students with a high level of academic and community accomplishment and a strong interest in science, especially as it relates to medicine and health-science fields. Health Science Scholars typically achieve high SAT scores and class rankings, but admission is not based solely on these criteria.

Equally important in the selection process is evidence of an applicant’s work ethic, ownership of intellectual and scientific pursuits, and an awareness of how their interests fit into current issues in health science.

  • College-wide programs are open to all CNS students pursuing a CNS major.
